Why this site exists
To give data leaders, engineers and architects the knowledge and tools to build unified data platforms: ones that break down organisational silos and turn data into business insight people can trust. That term gets used loosely, so the site says plainly what it means by it and judges platforms against those criteria.
Choosing between Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake and everything around them usually means reading a dozen vendor sites that each say they win. This site sets them out side by side, with the same questions asked of each, so you can judge for yourself. Data Platforms covers the ones that aim to do most of it from a single product; the Data Tool Landscape covers the components you would assemble instead.
