For vendors

Get in front of the people who choose data platforms

Unified Data Platform is read by data engineers, architects and analytics leaders working out what to build on. A listing puts your product where they are already comparing, described plainly and checked against your own documentation.

Four ways to work with us

Get listed

A profile in the directory

Every vendor and tool page carries the same sections, so readers can compare you with the alternatives rather than wade through marketing. Listings are free and editorial: we write them from your public documentation.

Keep it right

Correct or update your entry

Products change and pages move. Send corrections, or ask for a private registration link and fill in the details yourself. Everything is checked against your own docs before it goes live.

Be heard

Come on the podcast

We are booking guests for the UDP podcast: a relaxed conversation about what your product does, the problem it solves and where you think the market is heading. It is a conversation, not an advert, and we will ask real questions.

List or promote your event

Conferences, user groups, meetups and webinars for data professionals go in the events calendar, free. Featured placement is available and always labelled.

What a listing actually looks like

Every tool in a category answers the same headings, in the same order, so two products can be read side by side. That is the whole point: a reader should be able to tell where you fit without a sales call.

  • An overview of what the product is, who it is for and how it works, in plain English.
  • Key features grouped under headings shared by everything in your category.
  • Pricing as you publish it, including “price on request” when that is the honest answer.
  • Your own demos and videos, linked from your channel rather than someone else’s.
  • About the company: who is behind it, since buyers ask.
  • A link from the tooling landscape and, where relevant, the comparison pages.

See the landscape or browse the vendor directory to see how entries read.

How it works

  1. Tell us about the product

Email us with the product, your documentation and pricing pages, and who to talk to. If a registration link suits you better, ask and we will send one.

  2. We check it against your docs

We read your own pages, write the profile in our own words, and record what you publish, including where a price is not published. Nothing is invented and nothing is copied.

  3. You review, then it goes live

You see the draft before publication and can correct anything factual. Editorial judgement stays with us, which is what makes the comparison worth reading.

What sponsorship buys, and what it does not

What it buys

  • The banner slot, and featured placement in the tools and events directories.
  • Clear labelling, so readers know exactly what they are looking at.
  • Our time: a conversation about what you are trying to reach people with.

What it never buys

  • A better capability assessment, comparison result or ranking.
  • Removal of a competitor, or of an awkward fact about your product.
  • Approval rights over what we write before it is published.

Listings are free and never depend on paying. See the terms for the full position on submissions and neutrality.

Questions vendors ask

Does a listing cost anything?
No. Listings are editorial and free. Sponsorship is separate, optional and always labelled.
Who writes the entry?
We do, from your public documentation, with AI assistance and a human check. You review the draft for factual errors before it is published.
Where a fact is not published anywhere on your site, we say so rather than guess.
Can we send the content ourselves?
Yes. Ask for a registration link and fill in the details directly. It still goes through the same check, because that is what readers are trusting.
How long does it take?
Usually a few days from receiving your links, depending on how much of the plane we are covering.
Something in our entry is wrong. Now what?
Email us and we will fix it quickly. Corrections are never conditional on any commercial relationship.
What makes a good podcast guest?
Someone who can talk about the problem, not only the product: the engineering decisions, what is hard, what you got wrong first time. Founders, architects and engineers all welcome.

Email admin@unifieddataplatform.com with your product, your documentation link and what you are after: a listing, a correction, the podcast, an event, or sponsorship. It goes straight to Anbu, who runs the site.
